Social Media Pitches In For Haiti

A group of technology and social media professionals attended Crisis Camp Miami last Saturday. Here is the local Facebook Fan Page for additional resources.

It is part of a Nationwide Crisis Camp that assists in disseminating information via technology and social media during times of Crisis. And with the devastation in Haiti, many are reaching out to support this cause in many cities around the world.

Where’s The Party?

I thought I would start off my blog with some humor. I heard someone say to treat social media as if you were going to a party. Would you enter a room, start mingling with people and immediately start hacking your product? Hopefully not. Ideally, you would simply start to engage with people and get to know them.
