Tilson PR did it again! Dunkin Donuts recently launched a new donut called Monkey See Monkey Donut. The $12,000 grand prize winner out of 100,000 entries for Dunkin Donuts “Create Dunkin’s Next Donut” is Rachel Davis of Massachusetts. It consisted of banana foster filling and Reeses chocolote chips and peanuts.
I participated in the local event that Tilson PR created for the launch of this delicious donut. On the morning of September 8th, we arrived at Dunkin Donuts near Zoo Miami for breakfast and tasting of the donut. Since it was filled with banana foster, Tilson PR came up with the idea to go to Zoo Miami and watch the howler monkey’s get a taste of their own specially made donut. Their donut consisted of bananas, sweet potato, squach, rolled oats and a dab of cinnamon on top.
We had the pleasure of being accompanied by two wonderful men from Zoo Miami: Eric Stevens, Zoo Director and Ron Magill, Communications Director. It was a great idea to promote Zoo Miami which recently changed their name from Miami Metro Zoo. The new exhibit, Amazon and Beyond, surrounded by lush foliage & jungle music made me feel like I was in the movie Lion King. It is definitely a must see!
